Project: Watts Wedding

Melinda and Benjamin chose the Crane Arts Center as their wedding location. Wanting to tie this
in with the invitation, we used a beautiful origami paper (featuring white cranes) as the outer
envelope liner. 220# florescent white Lettra was used for the 6.25” square orange and rusty red
invitation, while the reply card was printed on lighter 110# Lettra. This set was complemented
with rounded corners, matching orange envelopes, and the liner of course!

“I’m a printmaker by training. I love the medium and have a deep appreciation for typography
and pattern, color and composition. I couldn’t wait to start working on the invitations, and
I couldn’t have found a better fit for their design and production than I did in Two Paper Dolls.

Vanessa gave us a tour of the studio’s gorgeous and incredibly varied portfolio of work,
quickly guaging our aesthetic and sense of style. The studio created a series of customized
options for us and balanced our requested tweaks and changes with their eye for design and detail.
The result is perfection – bright, beautiful, and personalized little packagages created with care,
impeccable craftsmanship, formality, and just the right touch of surprise and spunk. Our guests
are delighted by them – you should hear their rave reviews!”
